Laowai lay off on the perfumes

I am no stranger to the lovely fragrance of Dolce & Gabban. Often I pass it off as my natural scent as I usually attack myself with one spray...maybe two. One thing I can appreciate about China is that most people cannot afford such colognes and perfumes nor has Bath and Body established themselves in the malls, so I don't have to constantly be accosted by artificial smells mixed with alcohol.

This is a rare moment at this time, but I must say that I personally enjoy the Chinese lack of need for perfume and constant resprays to "freshen up." Laowai, put down your colognes and perfumes and bathe in a bit of your natural scent. It is a sexy smell(if you keep all your goody bits clean).

What I love about Shanghai

1. I can take the subway to work and everywhere else I need to go.
2. There are tons of buses that go just about everywhere.
3. I take my recycled bag to the grocery store every week instead of using a plastic bag.
4. I can have shirts and slacks made cheaply.
5. Tons of taxis.
6. Western restaurants are available.
